New Jersey State Council in the Arts and NJTransit has chosen Serena Bocchino to create four public art installations at the iconic Newark Penn Station. Installations will feature customized mural-sized exterior and interior pieces that boast Bocchino’s quintessential style. Installations embody themes of sustainability and environmental-consciousness in today’s world.
Four public art installations are chosen and supported by NJ Transit and commissioned by New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Serena Bocchino was chosen to participate in an international studio residency at the Eileen Kaminsky Family Foundation (ESKFF). Residency took place during the Fall of 2017.

Serena Bocchino was one of a select group of American artists chosen to take part in this culturally transformative international exhibition at the CAFA Museum in Jingdezheng, China. A fully illustrated catalogue detailing this exhibition is available with essays by Wang Chunchen, Richard Vine and Lily Zhang Candler.
